"I was browsing the shop this afternoon and had my pug with me on a short lead. The dog didn't interfere with any customers or stock but after 15 minutes a staff member approached me in front of other customers and told me I'd have to carry the dog around. She could clearly see I had items in my hands that I was planning to purchase, and carrying the dog along with these items would be impossible. Yet she insisted. I asked if any customer had complained and she said no. Just insisted it was policy not to have dogs. I left the items down and walked out. Can't believe the rudeness, let alone the daftness of them insisting on me carrying the dog when they could clearly see I couldn't. Such a shame as I had been in several other shops in Castlerea earlier who had no objection to the dog."
