"On Wednesday, on our way to Galway hospital, my husband and I stopped in Claremorris to get a tea and toilet stop. Applegreen refused us the use of their toilet so we went across the road to Hair Chair. Unfortunately my husband tripped on the high footpath outside the hairdressers. He suffered severe bleeding to his hands and nose. Passers by helped him up and brought tea and chocolate for shock. The wonderful owner of the hairdresser brought out a chair, paper towels and a wet cloth. She helped us into the hairdressers where she looked after us both. We were allowed to stay until my husband was well enough to continue travelling. Bathroom facilities were available to us which allowed him to clean up. If we lived close to Claremorris, we would go nowhere else for haircuts. I just can’t thank this lovely kind young woman enough."
