"From the moment we arrived to check in Emma at reception was so lovely and friendly and welcoming .Bedroom was beautiful , a warm and comfortable room We had dinner in the hotel both nights and food was delicious. Breakfast was one of the nicest we had in ages. It was a lovely stay and made nicer because of the lovely friendly staff. Well done. Looking forward to going back"
"I called in for something to eat, I had a lovely lamb stew which was really good, lots of lamb and vegetables with mashed potatoes. The service was good too. Bonus points for the beautiful views from my table."
"The service was okayish. The steak was ordered medium and was well done, Irish Stew was tasteless and the brownie for dessert was probably some days old. It was not eatable as it was simply too hard to get into pieces with a spoon."
"Quality of food is restaurant was excellent. Rooms are good with facilities found in most hotels around the world although TVs a bit small but wifi signal was excellent. Hotel is located central in Clifden and staff were very friendly and helpful. Finally the veranda area downstairs is a great chilling area with a great view. Would highly recommend."
"Placed on the high street, the restaurant at the back has stunning views out over the valley. The good is reasonably priced and very tasty. So much so, that we went back a second time. Good, friendly service, a great seafood menu and well priced too. Do make the time to stop by if you can."
