Reviews of Connemara National Park lodge
"I can only rate this place on the service and food as we only stopped by for dinner. We waited 50 minutes for two pizzas. A table of six who came in after us was served before us so we were obviously forgotten about. Our pizzas were bland and lacking in flavour the floury bases were probably the best bit. The waitress gave us a half hearted apology over the delay but we were charged full whack for pizzas, extra toppings and our two drinks. We won't be back and wouldn't recommend it. There are nicer, friendlier restaurants in Letterfrack."
"Loved our stay here , The french student working their was very welcoming & showed us around ,she was very informative of things in the area also . Bed rooms were exceptionally clean & beds extremely comfortable .functioning kitchen available to cook in also, was very clean . I would definitely book again for longer ."
"The place is well maintained. Helpful staff and the hygiene during this time of covid is fab. Provide bath towels, heated rooms, cozy beds. The location is at the best interest as is just below the Connemara national park and has an easy access to the park. Best to travel with private cars/ personal vehicles. If you take the common means of commute it’s a bit tricky to reach but you’ll definitely reach the location as the bus drivers in Galway city are very helpful, and also the local cab drivers"
"Best staff who were very helpful in getting us bikes to rent. I wish I could rate that guy because he brought the bikes to us at the hotel, great service. Also, the food at the restaurant was great, especially the pizza. Clean room, spacious, nice bathroom, great location. All in all, a great experience, would recommend."
"Visited with a 4 and 1,5 year old so the actual trek on Diamond hill was never an option, nevertheless we had a very good time and I would recommend visiting this place even with small kids. The area is just beautiful and it is kept spotless by the very friendly personnel. There is a nice kids playground (probably one of very few in the area) next to the main building with a working cafe even in covid. We did the shortest route that gives lovely views and a taste of how great it must be on the top with a buggy no problem. The path is in great condition and there are some nice farm animals around that kids will have fun from. A very nice place"
