Leenane Hotel , County Galway

"If possible, ask for a room on the waterside of the hotel. You will wake up to 1 of the best morning views you will ever wake up to. Staff is extremely friendly & the breakfast is a slamdunk on how good it is We slept and ate here 2 days, ate in the pub & the diner for our evenings. They have the exact same menu, but the atmosphere in the pub is much more to my liking. I would thus recommend to eat there"

"The most friendly, welcoming, traditional, relaxing hotel I've been to in a long time. Dinner was really nice. Staff were outstanding. Stayed here for 2 nights to climb for the best views in Ire. Would really like to revisit this hotel to enjoy more of the area."

"First stay in the place. Went with a friend who is a regular guest. Friendly welcome and very helpful and efficient service. The room was very comfortable with a wonderful view, the meals in the restaurant and bad were delicious and the waiters were brilliant. Last but not least, the lounge is a brilliant place for a coffee or drink, with a book or newspaper or just socialising and enjoying the fireplace. Brilliant location, definitely recommended when enjoying the beautiful region"

"food was outstanding and so was the service I don't know about the rooms. we stayed for lunch couple of weeks back. 6 adults and 6 kids. they have multiple partitions so they can offer food to larger groups of people easily if you warn them you're coming. all the fish dishes were great, superb chowder. the mussels were to die for. the Steak-Mann in the group gave also a massive thumbs up. service was brilliant and helpful. thanks so much for lunch, we all really enjoyed it we forgot a hat at lunch and before we could get it the next day they had already dropped it off to where we were staying. brilliant 5star for delicious and courtesy :-)"

"Stayed in room 39 over the weekend. Check in was lovely, very pleasant man at reception. The room was excellent, larger than expected and very clean with a fantastic view! We made a special request for the room and was delighted to see it fulfilled which was so kind. We went for dinner in the bar and was served by a lovely lady with pink hair, the food was quick and absolutely delicious. The best muscles I've ever had. Service was second to none. The hotel offers a truly old fashioned, personal experience. Evening Live music in the lounge makes you feel like you are at home away from home. If you are looking for an Irish experience like no other this hotel offers what no other hotel has offered ever before in my travels. Thank you"
