"Excellent B&B in an ideal location, 4 minutes drive from two beautiful beaches (Bertra in one direction and Old head in the other) Our host, Margaret was very kind and friendly. She was very flexible regarding check-in time and breakfast time. The breakfast was great-it kept us full all day long! There were cereals, scones, a full Irish, etc. She brought us second helpings of toast, orange juice etc, and offered us to bring some brown bread/scones with us when we left. We loved the sea view while having breakfast. The double bed was SUPER comfortable (more comfortable than a lot of hotels I have stayed in) The shower was great. We had tea and coffee making facilities in our room which was a lovely touch. Thank you Margaret, we will be back! Eilis & Johnny x"

"We had such an awful weather that we were literally frozen. Caitriona was so kind to give us a warm welcome with a turf fire plus some good Irish scones to taste with a cup of coffee. We had a very pleasant experience despite the bad weather. We guess that the view over Achill Islands Bay should have been spectacular with a bright sunny day."
