"I gave it 1 star because I couldn't give a lower review. A battery change for a watch was beyond their capabilities. I'll never be going back in again. Update from 1 week later. I brought the watch to another jeweller in Athlone on that same day. The battery was replaced and the watch is working fine. I stand over my review of total incompetence."
"My mother was in today (Sunday) to get my batery replaced on a watch I bought there (a very expensive watch). She was met with an awful attitude when they told her they don't change batteries on the weekends. My mum explained that she drove 45 mins and that she (or myself) are unable to go during the week. My mum also said that she would leave it with them as there was no rush. They refused to help. We will not be spending anymore money there in future."
"I had the most fantastic experience in Fields Athlone yesterday. A girl called Breann looked after me and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She helped me pick out a fabulous ring. I will definitely be back again. :)"
"Was in Fields Athlone yesterday. I have to say all the staff bar a young girl with short hair and glasses were nothing but rude and unhelpful. There was a girl there with ponytails in her hair that I have to say was possibly the rudest customer sales person I have come across. Not once did she look up from her screen to speak to me or give me any eye contact. The only time she spoke was to ask for money. I have to say what once was a lovely place to go into is now a totally miserable experience. The staff there are so unhappy so they make your experience as a customer very unhappy also..I have spent alot of money with Fields but feel from now on I will have to take my custom elsewhere."
