"We first used Ronan in 2019 to completely refurbish our main bathroom. Our first impression was that Ronan was different to other vendors who had come to quote for the job. He had a deep knowledge based on his experience, and was able to set us straight on some ideas we had that just weren’t practical. When work began his team were unstoppable. Ronan oversees everything. I have high standards and get a bit obsessed with details. If you’re like me, then there’s probably no other company that can satisfy your demands like this one can. Ronan is obsessed with detail, if a problem is encountered he simply won’t be satisfied until it’s put right. This focus is borne out in the finished product. Tiles are laser perfect, fittings are set perfectly - the most important work like tanking, piping etc. is all completed to the highest standard. Ronan has a much broader experience than most others, he is both a plumber and heating specialist. This lends itself well to bathroom fit outs, we had pressure issues upstairs all of which were solved. Due to Ronan’s meticulous nature, he will only work with the best in the business. His electrician is exemplary, and his tiler the best in the business. Our bathroom was completed in 2019, the finish is still as perfect 2 years later. We were so pleased with him that we got him to do our en-suite in 2020 and I’m happy to report a consistency of brilliance from Ronan and his team. We also had a boiler issue in late 2020, which required a radiator flush and needed to negotiate a warranty fix with Ariston, the boiler company. Ronan has a registered boiler technician who looked after everything, and also managed to get Ariston to replace a boiler pump for free (after they refused me because of a missing boiler service receipt). As you might imagine, Ronan is very much in demand around Laois because he is highly trusted. You’ll have to factor this in when planning your work. He’s not available at the drop of a hat for non-urgent services, but when he gives you a time for work to begin he sticks to it. He is very open and honest. On a final note - bathrooms are expensive no matter where you go. It is the worst room in the house to cut corners in, because you’ll pay to have bad work repaired in the long run. So don’t hire ‘cheap’ tradesmen who do bathrooms as a side job or nixer. If you want the best finish, with absolute confidence in a job well done, then get in touch with Ronan.
