"Will never be ordering off this company again or will i be recommending them to anyone. Placed an order for blinds for living area and bedrooms aswell as a curtain and track for a corner window. Initial meeting went well and order was placed to ready within 5 weeks. After 5 weeks I contacted the person I ordered off to inquire about delivery and installation of blinds and curtains. No reply. I got through to a girl in the office who had to go up to the factory on site, as it would happen blinds were ready to be delivered and installed that week, curtains at the later date ,which was fine. Installation day came and we find out that the corner windows in 2 rooms were measured wrong by the person on day one, these had to be taken back and re cut. We were led to believe this was an easy job and they would be out to us the next week. Again, to us that was no problem, a slight inconvenience but mistakes can happen. 3 weeks later I have to ring regards blinds and curtain. They came out later that week. Blinds went up fine. The curtains on the other hand were a different story. The track was first put up at the wrong measurement, the fitter without consulting my husband who was working from home proceeded to remove track and place at correct height. He tried to fill in the holes already made, badly I might add. While fitting the track the brackets were placed at random placings and also when we measured ourselves at differing height measurements so track was not even straight. Curtains were attached and the 2 fitters were going to leave the wall as it was in the pictures below, only for my husband went down to check on how they were getting on. We contacted the office in Castleblinds/Shadetech, they said they would send out their 'Quality Control Person' the following Monday. They didn't, only sent out different fitters to take down and correctly fit the track. They agreed to pay for a painter to fill and repaint the holes, which was the least they could do. They never asked for pictures and no one in authority ever rang to apologise which makes me think this is not just a once off. Never heard a word from initial contact person who I thought would be a point of contact regards the order. So my experience of both ordering blinds and curtains is not a good one. The remaining windows for blinds on the first day, needless to say we will be staying well away from this company. If anyone does go with crowd, make sure you are in the house to watch over the fitting. Edit: time frame of order in reply to below. 16th March 22 was told order was put through. 15th March (4 weeks after order put through) -blinds fitted, 2 needed to go back to be shortened at factory. 11th May ( 8 weeks after order put through) curtain track fitted with curtains and remaining blinds fitted that had been measured wrong. I can honestly say it was never stressed to me that the track should be fitted first. I was available at home anytime the previous 8 weeks to the curtains being fitted for someone to install the track. Apologies if you think review was harsh, should not have named anyone."
