Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our doors for the third time. "Mulvarra is a really lovely place for a yoga retreat! I organised a yoga retreat weekend and the setting (lovely views of the forest and the river Barrow) and the facilities (dedicated indoor yoga studio and outdoor deck, all en-suite bedrooms, large dining room) are brilliant. The food that Linda makes is both delicious and tasty and we were all really well looked after during our weekend. Tim and Linda are a pleasure to work with on organising events and I highly recommend Mulvarra house :)"
"I can’t recommend a yoga retreat at Mulvarra House highly enough. The location is superb, immersed in nature with the house / studio nestled in the trees and the view of the Barrow River on the doorstep. Tim and Linda are such generous inclusive hosts. The yoga sessions with Tim were perfectly pitched and really inspiring while the cookery demonstrations with Linda were delightful and lots of fun. I’ve started to use the beautiful recipes already! I came away feeling refreshed and invigorated. A wonderful place."
"I'm just back from one of the most enjoyable retreats - Yoga with Tim and learning how to cook and eating delicious vegetarian food with Linda. I felt so welcome and relaxed in my comfortable bedroom. Tim and Linda are so down to earth and lovely company at meal times. This retreat totally fulfilled my expectations and I will be back."
"A lovely weekend. The yoga was just right and the studio prettily framed nature. Some good stretches, but relaxing also. The retreat overlooks St Mullins, so beautiful scenery. The food was lovely and Linda and Tim were welcoming. I wish them well in developing this new venture."
"I’d just like to thank Linda and Tim for our fantastic stay at Mulvarra in its amazing setting on the Barrow. Our hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The food was fabulous Linda is a great cook. Every meal freshly cooked. Bread was amazing. Thanks to the two yoga instructors Aideen and Susie they made it a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Would definitely go back."
