"Lovely park area and play area for kids too"
"We love bringing the children here when we go into town! Racing to the top of the hill, rolly polly back down, off to feed the ducks and swans (and crows) and up to the playground after the children go and see the sunken boats!! On a good day the ice cream van is there for a well deserved treat!!! But the last few visits have been disappointing as littering getting worse each time we visit,(and beer cans dotted around the place), such a shame people can't respect such a beautiful local amenity! ☹"
"This park is nice and quite. It's very small too. It has the river running alongside, scenic view of the Mount Leinster is a bliss to watch."
"This is one of my favorite spots on the river Barrow to just chill out and relax. There are plenty of spots to find under a tree and have a picnic and watch the world go by. Or head over to the rivers edge and feed the swans. There is a fantastic looking playground for kids and judging by it's popularity, it is a must for those with kids. If you are in the area, it's well worth the visit for some time out."
