Welcome to Church Meadows Veterinary, located in Feighcullen, Rathangan, Co. Kildare, Ireland. Established in 2004 by Denis, our institution is dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care to owners of sporting dogs, with a particular focus on racing greyhounds. We are proud to serve clients from all over Ireland, as well as England and Scotland, who trust us for our specialized services.

While our clinic primarily caters to racing greyhounds, we also welcome other breeds of dogs who require musculo-skeletal (lameness) treatments. At Church Meadows Veterinary, we prioritize thorough physical examinations, offering on-site blood testing for a comprehensive assessment of your dog's health. Our skilled team is capable of performing most surgeries on-site, ensuring convenience and continuity of care for your beloved pet.

In addition to our traditional veterinary services, we also provide acupuncture treatments when necessary for the treatment of lameness and performance improvement prior to competition. We believe in utilizing various holistic approaches to enhance your dog's well-being and optimize their racing potential.

Excitingly, we are constantly striving to expand our range of surgical treatments. To better serve our clients, we have recently acquired new equipment for orthopaedic surgery. With the addition of several external fixator kits for the treatment of long bone fractures and specialized instruments for the repair of hock fractures, we are equipped to handle even the most complex cases. Don't despair if your dog sustains a fracture on the track; many dogs have successfully returned to racing following treatment for long bone and hock fractures.
