"I would give her zero if I could .... I rang this evening sobbing . We had been feeding a little kitten we had found a few weeks ago , I took the kitten to our normal vet because she was walking abit off and we got worried ... The vets treated the kitten and we decided we would take her in and make sure she was okay .... 3 days later the kitten wasnt eating and was shaking , vomiting, walking into walls we couldn't get in touch with our vet as they were closed . Now I had heard plenty of bad stories about Emma but I was stuck and really concerned about the kitten ... Straight off the bat she wasn't taking the kitten because it wasn't her fault ! I said I understand that but the kitten was in a really bad way , I was afraid the medicine instructions wer wrong and she may have been overdosed (not blaming anyone but at this stage we have no idea what is wrong with the kitten so we are going with the only thing we can think could be wrong ) so I said can you even give me advice on how to even flush her system or something... I'm doing some serious crying now because I can't get someone to help us . She said oh she needs a drip she will take her in ... Oh but it was going to cost 250e just for the emergency appointment .... Now I'm really upset ! I would pay anything for any of my animals to make sure they were okay ... But This is a kitten we took off the road .. we were only trying to help and who has 250e a week after Christmas .... Thank fully I got in touch with our normal vet (went out of theyre way to calm us down , talked us through what to do until they could get to the clinic ... Oh yeah and 60 e for the emergency appointment , the kitten hadn't overdosed , she is extremely sick though .) Emma saw serious money bags when she got a seriously destressed woman on the phone. I let her know exactly how I felt and I hung up .... She had just confirmed all the horrible things I had heard and I will definitely never be contacting her again after this dreadful experience!"
"Growing up on a farm and unable to resist taking in strays, I've had countless encounters with vets for many beloved animals. None have even remotely compared to exceptional care by Dr. Niamh. She is always very patient, kind, compassionate, and professional. No matter how late/inconvenient it is, she takes the time to explain symptoms/treatment options very patiently and helpfully. I wish I could find a similar doctor for humans, who had even a fraction of her expertise, compassion, and kindness! I cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for being so kind, helpful, and accommodating during emergencies and difficult goodbyes. This vet hospital is truly one of a kind, and I wouldn't dream of bringing an animal anywhere else. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
