Our cat hotel is exclusively designed and decorated with a relaxed "make yourself at home" style. The contemporary yet homely feel is achieved through a combination of soft furnishings against a clean white backdrop. Pictures and paintings adorn the walls, wood effect tiled flooring adds a touch of warmth, and a wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere, making your cat feel right at home.

With 8 wonderfully comfortable guestrooms, each elegantly decorated, your cat's privacy, comfort, and relaxation are at the heart of our design. Each room is equipped with an electric wall-mounted heater to ensure your cats are snug during their stay. As an optional add-on service, webcams in each guestroom allow you to check on your cats remotely, giving you peace of mind.

We offer 6 Standard Rooms for 1 or 2 cats sharing from the same household, providing privacy and maximized views of our stimulating Garden Rooms, bird feeders, and butterfly-friendly planting. Our 2 Family Rooms are more spacious and can accommodate up to 4 cats sharing from the same household. These rooms feature a snoozing area overlooking the Living Room, allowing cats to relax in front of the wood-burning stove and watch TV from their beds.

At Hillview Cat Lodge, we understand the importance of socialization and exercise. All guests, with their owners' discretion, have access to our Living Room and Garden Rooms. This gives them the opportunity to socialize in a supervised meeting space, or enjoy the fresh Burren air and birdwatching in our Garden Rooms, all while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

We believe in keeping owners updated about their cats' progress during their stay. Whether it's through private messages or public updates on Facebook, Instagram, and Flickr, we ensure you are always in the loop. We invite you to follow us on social media even before your cat's stay.

If you'd like to see our facilities before your cat's stay, we welcome you to visit us. Located just 15 minutes from junction 17 of the M18, we are approximately 45 minutes from Galway City, Ennis, Athenry, and Tuam, and about an hour from Shannon Airport, Limerick City, and Athlone. To arrange an appointment, please ring or message us as all visits must be by appointment only to minimize disruption to our guests.

Our vet is Ballyhugh Small Animal Clinic in Gort, Co. Galway. They provide a vet on-call service 7 days a week outside of clinic opening hours.
