"Enquired about booking my car in to be checked because battery isn't charging, was told they wouldn't take it because they don't like working on Alfa Romeos and can't get parts. When I pointed out it's the 1.9jtd used in Saab, Opel and fiat and I've never had trouble getting parts from any motor factors I was still dismissed. These engines are incredibly easy to get parts for because it was used in a huge number of cars over the years. They also explained they were very busy and booked up for 3 weeks, which is totally fine, and likely the reason they were not in a position to help me, but being given the run around about parts availability and not working on certain brands is a little condescending. I would prefer to be told they were just booked up :)"
