"Nice hidden spot for locals to have quiet morning cafe or brunch. Loved the vegetarian full breakfast although same could not be said about the smash Avocado that remains painfully simple but over priced. Service was excellent despite some cash register issue on my visit. Staff were courteous and helpful. I would hope they expand on their coffee selection although their current blend is quite good. Downside is they are run from within the Harvey Norman and are restricted by the latter opening and closing times."
"Rude and ignorant woman with northern accent back again. No manners. Lunch was half the size as normal. Bullying the staff behind the counter. Some of the other staff are lovely. Feel sorry for them. Music on was like being in a nightclub. Lost my business. Avoid."
"I’ve checked some comments about this cafe. People complained about bad and slow customer service. I’ve worked in this place around 2 months which was including the Christmas time. It was super busy however they pay only minimum wage for their staff. Also they didn’t give anything to their staff as Christmas gift. This was so disappointing. They didn’t give even small box of chocolate They hire you as barista however suddenly you become a kitchen porter, waiter and chef for fries. Guys of course customer service will be slow! Would you like to work like that for minimum wage ? Especially in Ireland! Everything is so expensive because of the inflation. I highly don’t recommend this place to work!"
"Very poor experience in this cafe today. Every single table was loaded with dirty dishes. There were only 2 staff trying to serve customers-they were flat out busy but couldn’t get on top of the situation. When the food arrived it was bland, dry and tasteless. The cake was dry and stale. We paid over €40 for 2 sandwiches, a sausage roll, a slice of cake and a couple of drinks. Really bad value for money.."
"The food is pretty decent, could be more choices. I could be a little too harsh, however, as it is a daytime cafe and not a restaurant. That said, I believe it should be possible to provide one or two dishes outside of Sambos, Salads, & Pastries. Also, with sandwiches etc., many are prepared earlier. It appears you cannot choose fillings, but they did take the ham out of a prepared ham and cheese, as I just wanted cheese. I am not 100% sure why they don't allow customers to choose fillings, there appeared to be more than enough staff, and if a proper process is in place, it should work. Plus, you avoid the amount of food waste you have now with people taking out fillings they do not like. It is a poor experience for everyone."
