"I see Dr Downie and I have to say she's fantastic. Actually listens to me and not in a blind agreement way. She does her job but she's always kind and respectful. The only thing I'd take points away from the practice is for the reception staff. Edit: one of the reception staff was actually a dote to me there today. Lovely woman. I take it back."
"Since 2021, patients have been waiting 5-15 minutes to reach reception, and when the practice manager does answer, she advises patients to "just Google" information that should be provided at a medical clinic. There was no apology for the lengthy wait period, and the practice manager was overall dismissive and inattentive to the patient's requests. It's unbelievable how someone in the medical field can be so patronising and cold. I understand we are in the midst of a pandemic, but we have all been dealing with it since 2020; there is no justification for such poor service and a lack of staff/resources to operate a practice efficiently without subjecting patients to poor service, particularly when medical appointments can already be intimidating for patients. A more effective business model must be adapted."
"DO NOT RECOMMEND 0/5 Joined as a patient in a work scheme as was close proximity to home. (Although advised not to. ) Paid monthly out of my wages . Over a 10 month period was refused multiple appointments to renew my inhaler prescription for my asthma. During covid-19 pandemic they left me stuck and unable to afford another doctor due to already paying them. Everyone person I dealt with was rude and unwilling to listen. Worst doctors practice I've seen. Received no refund for the service I paid for and didn't receive. I understand why they weren't recommended initially now and why everyone goes to Keogh practice."
"Visited the clinic this morning with both my parents for a roll out of the Covid booster injection and the flu injection. All extremely well managed by the doctors, nurses and administrative staff on duty. Thanks for the professionalism, kindness and care shown to my parents and to all the elderly who presented themselves at the clinic for vaccination. Your continued hard work has not gone unnoticed. Mind yourselves too."
"Been really happy since moving here. while you tend to get different doctors occasionally I have found them all to be really good, attentive and helpful. If you have to return for the same issue within 7 days the visit wont cost you anything which is great!"
