Reviews of Jil & Joe's coffee dock
"I had the worst coffee experience I've had in a long time at bunratty yesterday. We queued up at the window for at least 6 mins before the server (lady) turned around to acknowledge us, not sure why she had her back turned for so long, she certainly wasn't cleaning the machine as the steam wands were caked in dried on milk, so much so that my colleague refused to have a Oat flat white and commented that the steam wand was a health hazard. Eventually the 2 x americanos were served, barely drinkable and very under extracted. We also used our own keep-cups but we're offered no discount!. Won't be returning for a second cup of hot brown water."
"Always enjoy visiting Jilly and Joe's restraunt and coffee bar. The coffee bar is definitely a go to if you prefer sitting out. we had a beautiful view of the castle the last day we visited... The cake selection is also a big positive because there is so much to choose from. Definitely left happy and will be returning:)"
"Absolute shambles of a place. We stopped for ice cream thinking we were in for a real treat.. all ice cream on the menu is just the cheapest soft pull ice cream with a cheap sauce on it. We paid €20 euros for 2 kinder bueno ice cream cups ( a huge pile of cheap ice cream with hardly any sauce as the young fella only mentioned they had run out after giving us the 2 cups) The kids were given 3 stale ice cream cones with an absolute disgusting amount of ice cream on them, usually people would love a large ice cream but the amount on them was absolutely ridiculous , we all had a few licks and ended up throwing everything away. The 2 ladies sitting on a table close to us did the same. This ice cream shop is set up to take advantage of customers by serving the lowest quality ice cream, letting children run the stalls to keep the wages down and charging over €5 for some of the ice creams. Take your kids somewhere else. They deserve better"
"Good latte. And they made a crazy delicious Bailey’s caramel hot chocolate!"
"Loved the coffee, loved the choice, loved the cookies especially ,all reasonably priced would highly recommend."
