"A fab café right on the bank of the River Barrow in a location that has to be experienced to be properly appreciated. Tables indoors and outdoors on the grass by the water. Plenty of staff, all friendly and helpful, a lovely selection of food, snack and more substantial. we've been there twice recently, once in a group of 15 or so and more recently in a smaller family group. Both times we were very pleased with how we were treated and with the lovely food and at sensible prices. It might sound like someone paid me to wax lyrical about this place, they didn't, but if you are in the area, particularly on a sunny day, you wont forget a trip to the Mullacháin."
"Such an amazing place. We walked from the hub in Graignamanagh and got completely soaked in a mad sun shower. Arrived like 5 drowned rats plus 2 dogs and thought they wouldn’t even want us as we were so wet. They guys could t have been nicer. Gave us towels to dry off and T-shirt’s to give back in the hub in Graignamanagh. Gave us a dog friendly table and were so professional getting us our food and drinks and completely saved the day. We will be back. I didn’t get the name of the owner/ manager but thank you so much for rescuing our day!"
"Love the place! Very friendly staff. One suggestion though, I believe it is better to use a number system instead of calling out the customers name when their order is ready. Most people don't like their name called out loud in public. Only a small thing, but it can make a difference!"
