"Yesterday was my third time as a patient in barringtons hospital in Limerick. From the admission to my procedure and after care I have never before been treated so well. It’s so well run, everything just follows on from each other.from the lady in admissions to the wonderful nurses and theatre staff nurses to the ultrasound staff and ct scan staff and of course the lovely dr khan . Great respect for patients. Thanks to all involved."
"I have been in many hospitals around the world and by a mile, my experience with Bon Secours in Limerick has to be the worst ever. I had an appointment with Mr Stephen Ryan on the 24/2/21 and was sent for an MRI on the 5/3/21. Was told I'll hear back the result of MRI the following week, (heard nothing for two weeks), called back and was told a letter was send to my GP on the 13/3/21, called my GP on18/3/21, he said he has received nothing from that Private hospital, called the Bon Secours again, and was told they'll send it again, and she informed me that they can only send itthe results to my GP, because it's confiditional, so what's confiditional about it. Also, on the phone prior to MRI scan, I was told, the cost will be €240, while on the day of scan, I was told different, €360 and not €240... i have called three times, and on every ocassion the story change. Professionalism, look somewhere else!"
"From my experience today i would give no stars! I arrived for my appointment clearly stated in the appointment letter as 930am 4th September 2020 to be advised by the receptionist that my appointment was for Sunday 6th September and that Dr Khalil wasnt at the hospital today. I showed the receptionist the letter and she agreed it said the 4th. Dr Khalil's secretary came to speak to me and advised that my appointment had indeed been changed to Sunday 6th. I asked why i had not been informed and was advised that it was an administrative error on their part and that she was very sorry. I advised her that i had travelled over 40 miles for this early morning appointment and that this was not an acceptable way to treat people, who are also paying for the privilege! I am awaiting a call from the hospital manager to make a formal complaint. Angela Casey"
