"Ollie is a brilliant coach. We appreciate that he works hard to push our lads and is never short of passion and determination to help them understand where they need to improve. He has supported all three of our kids develop their skills in the water and has become a great mentor and coach, teaching them everything from breath-work to resilience to making the most of each wave and most importantly respecting the ocean and environment. We tried many schools but Ollie’s Surf Academy was the only school willing to coach her on an ongoing basis and bring her surfing to the next level. He is genuinely interested in each of his students, helping each one differently according to their age and temperament to achieve their surf goals. He chooses the class groups carefully so students have a similar level; the kids then become great friends, motivating each other to improve.
