Reviews of The Skeff Bar
"Recently, I had the pleasure of enjoying a hearty and tasteful breakfast at Skeff bar, following a recommendation by a resident of Galway. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the friendly and welcoming service of the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied with my meal. One of the things I loved most about the Skeff Bar was the spacious and interesting interior. Although it may appear small from the outside, the bar is surprisingly roomy once you step inside. The decoration style is unique and captivating, with a nod to the history and tradition of the area. I particularly enjoyed the various artifacts and vintage photos on display, which added to the ambiance and charm of the space. But of course, the real star of the show was the food. My breakfast was cooked to perfection, with all the ingredients fresh and delicious. One of the things I liked is that the olace was packed with locals, giving me a feel of their local culture. Overall, I would highly recommend the Skeff Bar to anyone looking for a great meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With its delicious food, friendly staff, and interesting decor, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Galway."
"Really enjoyed our experience here! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great! I had the fish and chips and it was amazing! The only downside was the very long wait and lack of attentive service. Otherwise it may be worth a visit!"
"We were on our way to a different place, but out of curiosity we checked menus along the way. And what luck we did, because we found pork belly on the menu. Went inside, were flashed by the sheer size and the pretty decor and ordered. Service took a little longer than in other restaurants, but it was well worth the wait. Both pork belly and chicken with black pudding were really special and tasty, the cheesecake of the day finished an amazing dinner for us. Will definitely go there again."
"This place is big and with all the fine woodwork and details from the past. The are plenty of high tables at the bar area to enjoy their beers. The food is good. We had their fish and chips and bottled mixed berry cider. All good! The hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream was the topping of the meal! Good place going and enjoying with friends and family!"
"The caesar salad was just okay. The hamburgers were really good as well as the brown bread. The nachos were our favorite starter. We also got fish and chips which were good. I liked that they had a vegetarian burger because it’s hard to find."
