"I have had a Merlyn Shower 8 Series enclosure fitted a number of years ago. I have found the unit very satisfactory and is both solid and a very good design. Whereas I undertook a lot of the manual decorating work including fitting the shower tray myself I employed a plumber to fit the shower fittings including fitting the enclosure. Unfortunately there was a error in fitting the rollers which I did not spot resulting in one of the the bottom units splitting. I contacted Jamie in Merlyn who quickly sent a replacement as a goodwill gesture. I fitted the roller unit and could immediately see the difference in the smooth operating of the shower doors. We are very pleased with the result. It is great to find such a good manufacturer and a company that stands by its products even in our case when it issue was due to our own error. Thanks Jamie."

"Wonderful example of customer service - I rang today to order some new seals for a series 10 door (which is 10 years old now). I spoke with Ronan who was extremely helpful, and as I was about to place the order, Ronan informed me that he would replace the seals as a gesture of goodwill! We have a number of Merlyn products and they are top quality and highly recommended."

"I had a Merlyn Series 8 Frameless 1 door cubicle, with a hinged, door fitted, both corners of the door leaked, when I spoke to their after sales dept, they already knew they had a problem with this model because they said there designers were working on a solution, but that wouldn’t be available for another 2 months, so they sent a guy to try and stop the leaks, they didn’t stop, Then Merlyn offered to fit an alternative shower cubicle, which I accepted, they fitted a cubicle with a sliding door, but this only had rollers at the top, none at the bottom, after about 2 weeks the door started to get jammed closed, with me inside, I had to get on my hands ands knees lift the door and try and move the door guide to free the door and let myself out, when I contacted Merlyn the sent a guy to try and fixed the problem, it worked for about 2 weeks again, then started to jam again, Merlyn decided they couldn’t be bothered sending a fitter around again and gave me my money back and basicly said I could get someone else to try and fixed the problem or get a replacement shower from another company. For a company that is supposed to sell luxury products, their after sales service and lifetime guarantee is very very poor."

"bought a Merlyn 6 shower door, got it installed by a professional. The door looks good, but only looks good... It does not do the job: the seal at the bottom is so short it does not cover the entire width of the door so i keep having leak in the corners. Contacted their customer service and their support team many times, over emails and over the phone, asking for help, but so far they have not given any constructive help or advice. Poor product, inexistent customer service, inexistent support, will never buy from them ever again and will definitely not recommend them to any relatives or friends."
