"We have installed the Vasco ventilation system - it's brilliant. Living in Ireland I was bit worried about not being able to open the windows and condensation etc. or the rooms feeling stuffy. But that's not the case! I can open the windows, but there is mostly no need for it! After the first winter I can honestly say it works brilliantly, the air exchange is continuous so there is always fresh air - our house is NZEB standard ,like most new builds now, and I love the heat recovery aspect - the air coming in is being warmed by the outgoing air. It's completely silent so you forget about it. After a long hot shower or a bath we just hit the timer with the fan, and within few minutes its all cleared out. We live in a countryside I suffer with hay-fewer quite badly, but coming into spring I really feel the difference with no pollen coming in through open windows. I'd like to add that we were very happy with a costumer service tweaking all the rooms and air vents etc."

"Montpelier Construction has used the Partel Air and Wind-tight Building System, for many projects over the years,with great success! Mainly utilizing the Exoperm WRB Membrane, a rugged vapor open /water tight fabric to contain the exterior of the insulation envelope assemblies we design and build here in Vermont,USA. And VaraPlus a Variable Permeability Air Barrier Membrane to contain and air-seal our insulation envelope assemblies. Varaplus provides a measure of Health and Safety to our assemblies , while insuring air tightness and vapor permeability when desired. We also find the tapes , both Conexo and Conezo to be engineered well and hold up well during construction.Resiliency testing and certification assures they will continue to perform over time. The tapes can be placed and replaced, once they are friction/rubbed down into place and after the 24hr setting period they remain flexible and secured in place. We have found Partel tapes easy to install and user friendly, as some can be ripped off the roll, providing a good edge to grab for the backer peal. We use ConlexButyl for many sealing applications, for wire and ducting penetrations and window sill/buck flashing. For hard to tape wood to membrane connections we have used the Acrabond Liquid Adhesive caulking with great results.The service is great !! they will always answer any questions we have and using the Partel System adds to the success of our High Performance and Passive House Projects."
