"Really enjoyed this excellent walking tour with Jane - entertaining, informative, and really well curated, I highly recommend."
"I recently took a second year history class on a walking tour of Ennis with Jane and it was a most enjoyable experience. Jane was knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the history of Ennis, making the tour not only informative but also engaging. Jane took us through the winding streets, laneways and bow-ways pointing out the significant landmarks and sharing stories about the people and events that have shaped the town’s history. We visited old churches, markets, and buildings and Jane made sure to highlight the unique features of each one. There were plenty of opportunities for the curious young historians to ask questions too. Jane’s enthusiasm and expertise brought the history of Ennis to life, and the class gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of our unique local history."
"I work with aspiring regional tour guides and took a group of 10 on a tour of Ennis with Jane of Ennis Walking Tours. We had a most informative and enjoyable tour of Ennis. Jane is a fountain of knowledge and really knows and loves her town. A great experience for all particularly those wanting to see how it should be done."
"We recently were visiting the beautiful western coast of Ireland on a WAMT. We had the pleasure of having Jane from Ennis Walking tours as our tour guide through the streets of this lovely, medieval town. Jane was knowledgeable, pleasant and shared lots of interesting info regarding Ennis. We would highly recommend Jane and Ennis Walking tours if you are lucky enough to be travelling in this beautiful part of Ireland or just want to learn more about the history of Ennis."
"Jane gave our tour group an enjoyable, entertaining and educational tour around Ennis a couple days ago that we all really enjoyed. It was raining steadily, sometimes heavily, during the tour and she managed to keep our interest with her stories and anecdotes of the history of Ennis and surrounding area. She can tailor a tour to match your interests. I know she also has tours customized for children. She and her family live in Ennis and have a strong bond with the history and future of the area. There were a couple of people in our group who had already toured with her the day before but they loved it so much that they went again. If you’re in the area, either book her daily tour or have her customize one for you based on what you want to see."
