Reviews of Tom Sheridan’s
"Wonderful atmosphere for music and for the ambience itself. Food delicious and service fast. Good selection of drinks. I got Galway IPA. Prices good."
"Great place. It's a grand gem tucked in a great spot. Lovely food and ambience. Opens after 12noon and closes around 00.30am. Feels very cosy and the service was very friendly."
"Its my first time here and as its race week I think we were lucky to get in. Its a very busy little spot and has parking out the front. It's a lovely well kept pub, it has a lot of old features but feels cosy, inviting and up to date while keeping its charm. The staff were friendly and had a smile. We stopped for a bite to eat, 2 of us got the chicken wings to start and 1 had the chowder, all was pippin hot and tasty. For mains 2 of us had the roast beef and my daughter had a burger and chips. The beef was perfect just good honest grub and very tasty. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert so we will just have to call again to try it. Definitely would recommend if your loving for no fuss good honest food with a smile."
"Called in here by chance after checking out Google maps. Was never here before but really enjoyed it. It’s situated behind a chemist and can easily be missed. Parking is limited but once your in all is good. The outside has a large seating area which seemed very popular. We went inside and asked a member of staff for a table as all the free ones seemed to be reserved. They were very helpful and found us a table but let us know that they needed it back by 18:30 but as it was only 16:30 this was not a problem. The bar had a nice relaxed comfortable atmosphere and was very clean. They were mad busy as it was a bank holiday weekend and the last day of the Galway races but service was given with a smile. My wife and daughter both had the chicken wings for starters and I had the sea food chowder which was lovely. For mains my wife and I both had the roast beef which was really nice and tasty and was a very generous portion. My daughter had the kids burger and chips and they went down well. All was good value and with drinks everything came to €65. Well worth a visit and I will certainly be back when I’m in that neck of the woods."
"Absolutely lovely environment and amazing food! Started with tullamore dew and a coke. For food I had the double fried wings with the local hot sauce, perfectly cooked trout with sage sauce and risotto, and I finished with a delectable sticky toffee pudding. Service was prompt and nothing got brought out before I finished the course before it. Absolutely 5/5 service and food. All for an amazing price!"
