Reviews of The Good Room Café
"My 3rd time coming here and just not getting good service, arrived at 11:25am. Seated after about 5 mins. But that was the only thing good… 35 mins waiting for orders to be taken. I had to ask for a waiter to take the order. There was only 2 of us. 2 full Irish breakfasts and orange juice and 2 hot chocs. Food came quickly but definitely not worth the €12.5 for it. (2 rashers, a sausage, pudding, fried egg and a piece of soda bread) Drinks never came. We went to pay and asked for these for take away and still took an extra 10 mins for these to go. One of the worst experiences and i wouldn’t mind but they have 3 staff plus 2 cooks and one lady making coffee. Its not a big place so easily should have had a more suitable service. I was embarrassed bringing my visiting friend there."
"Excellent food and value. Staff very friendly. Well worth a visit"
"Lovely cafe...not a very varied menu choice and menu needs to be laminated as it's unprofessional to just have a sheet of paper clipped to a board as it gets worn after people handling it every day. Our menu was very worn looking and needs to be changed more regularly as its not hygienic. And please cover the buns by the counter by the till. People are paying there and leaning and breathing over the cakes. I wouldnt touch anything without a cover on ..remember covid !!"
"Everything you could ask for in cafe, fast, tasty and great service. Full Irish isn't your usual full irish but it really hits the spot. Safe to say top 3 breakfasts I've ever had."
"Wow! Delish plus! I had the breakfast burrito. When you watch a cooking show they say things about blends of flavors, fresh ingredients, unique approach. I am noooooo chef but as just a plain folk, I can tell it was something special as these celeb chefs describe. My suggestion oth had French Toast with brown sugar blue berries bacon and eggs. I didn’t want to disrupt the tastes in my mouth so I have to rely on him to say how good it was. It sure looked great. The staff here were sweet and attentive. Adorable atmosphere. The chef is steps away. You can see his care for freshly putting everything together. We got off a plane from the US at 5 am IR time. We stopped in Adare for a breakfast. The first restaurant we saw was The Good Room. Don’t stumble in make it a destination."
