Step House Hotel

"2 couples had evening meal on sat 15th April. 2 of us had steak which was tough and very fat. Starters were average as well, we won't be going back."

"Really nice old school hotel. Rooms were lovely and so big. Staff were great as well. Came with work and if back working same area will deffo be staying again. Irish breakfest was so nice really set me up for the days graft. Great hotel"

"I popped in for some dinner in the late afternoon. I was disappointed when it was brought to the table as the waiter warned us in advance of very hot plates. Unfortunately, neither the plates or the food was hot. Both were warm. We had the free range chicken & it was in my opinion overpriced for what we got. However the venue is nice & cosy & the staff were pleasant."

"We only stopped over night here on a short break but the hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the meal. Rooms are fairly basic hotel rooms but had everything we needed and we're clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area. The number of local walks that you can do beginning at the hotel is huge. A great time had by all."
