"Booked 3 rooms. No hot water in any of the rooms. One room had no running water at all in shower andthecurtainsfellofftherail whentryingtoclosethem. 3rd room bathroom door didn't close as door was too big for door frame. Was promised management would be in touch with a refund proposal. After emailing them 2 weeks later and still no reply"

"I have no idea why this has 4/5 stars on Google, other than for the location. It is one of the most run down, dirty places I’ve ever had the displeasure of almost staying in. Grimy carpets, old and broken mismatched furniture, tired beds, freezing rooms due to single glazing and you can hear music blaring downstairs. We ended up checking out after trying our best for about an hour to grin and bear it. It needs to be gutted before it has a chance of being on a level above staying in a jail cell."

"Had a great stay, the hotel is superbly situated in the centre of town. The staff are super friendly. One minor quibble is the lack of soundproofing - there is a lively bar with music playing downstairs. However, the music does abate at a reasonable hour. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and recommend the Town hotel."
