"This beautiful spot left the best impressions. We enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Staff was very attentive and accommodating. They all worked as a team which was wonderful to see. The atmosphere and the surroundings are exceptional. We will definitely return to this fabulous place."
"We stayed in room 112, fabulous architecture, gardens, and staff. Thank you also for the complimentary prosecco at dinner to help celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. Beautiful place, would definitely recommend."
"Does not deserve to be on Ireland's Blue Book. Service is amateur, the food is very basic nothing special, the hotel is not managed well, the garden is run with weeds. Waited 30mins for a waiter to ask for tea orders, ended up getting the tea ourselves from the bar and the bar delivered them all wrong in the end. The dinner is ok but nothing special unlike other Blue Book hotels. Breakfast especially is really poor, with mushy fruits sitting in water (check photo), really poor selection of choice, no almond/oat/soya milk available for coffee. There is a shaksuka egg on the menu, I have never eaten anything this random and underwhelming in my life (check photo); one piece of egg placed on canned beans. Bread was not served with breakfast and we asked for it. The castle itself is absolutely beautiful but the service and the kitchen should improve."
"Very comfortable room. Very nice and warm atmosphere all around. Fascinating building with interesting pieces of forniture, a lovely garden and an incredible view all around. Friendly and kind staff. Just the booking procedure was a bit unecessary complicated. Dinner didn't fully meet our expectations while the breakfast offered a complete range of options. Overall a very positive experience."
"What a fantastic venue for any type of private and personal celebration. We had a fabulous 3 course meal for 2 today with drinks and coffee in wonderful surroundings. Served by very attentive and friendly staff. Atmosphere was lovely and easy going laid back ambience was a joy. No rushing around feeling obliged to finish courses quickly. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Top class restaurant and hotel. Food was exceptional and great value. Thank you"
