Maldron Hotel Limerick

"Sorry to write this but I have to share the honest review here for my family trip, it smelled when first entered the room, one of the single bed sheet was not clean with orange dots on the duvet cover, sink of hand wash was leaking super slowly and after falling house keeping it fixed a bit but still very slowly and stack with half full tank. In addition, the hair dryer was not working after 1 min use, overall I would think the experience should be of great improvement for every room."

"Just back from my latest stay at this hotel. I have been staying at this hotel for over 10yrs, normally, 4 times each year. I must say, it's most welcoming place, from Pat (General manager) Catriona & all the staff. It has everything under one roof, free underground car parking,lovely rooms, a great leisure centre, beautiful food/restaurant & a great atmosphere in the bar area. It also has extremely easy access to the motorway both going North & South. I would never hesitate to recommend this hotel & have done many times."

"Location close to motorway, so to get in and out of the hotel is an ease. My only issue kid running the hall making noise very late at Night, and sometimes bad neighbors which kept smoking in their room and all smoke was passing to my room. The bed was alright, but with the madress protection installed made me wake up alot due to it was just to to warm and gave a hospital kind of a feeling when in bed. But i enjoyed my stay at the hotel, great size room, good food, good space of gym, swimming pool and sauna. Great staff, thanks for having me."

"I opted to pay for my stay in cash on check in. On payment of the full amount, I was then asked to provide a further 100-euro cash as a deposit. This was an entirely new experience for me (I have stayed in hotels all over the world). On checkout, I asked for this money to be returned to me. The staff member refused to do so until my room was inspected by another staff member (also a new experience). This had the effect of making me appear like a potential vandal/thief. I found this experience to be as annoying as it was humiliating, and I can assure you that I will be in no hurry to stay in your hotel the next time I need accommodation in Limerick."

"Stayed two days, staff was friendly and helpful. The meals in the restaurant were delicious and portions were generous. The hotel room was spotless and a secure underground parking was provided. Would recommend."
