Reviews of Greenhills 4-Star Hotel Conference & Leisure Centre
"Had the very nice carvery lunch. Very good service friendly efficient staff. Tasty food at good value prices with a nice dining room. Very clean and spacious. Would recommend for all family friendly business or get together."
"I visited the Greenhills Hotel for the carvery lunch. The main meat was bacon. Bacon is not what I consider carvery meat. The meats eligible are beef, pork, turkey breast and even ham. Bacon is a cheap alternative and not what I consider a treat. So I paid €17 for sirloin steak in sauce with the vegetables. The steak was tough and over cooked and dry. I doubted it was sirloin. It was difficult to cut and chew. The sauce covered the fact that it had a large lump of fat attached. So disappointed. I ate it because I was extremely hungry but it wasn’t worth half the price. I did mention to a member of staff that I was unhappy with the meat. She appeared to be in charge of the dining room. She offered nothing to resolve the situation. An offer of a coffee or something may have helped to resolve the situation and restore good faith."
"Part of a group who frequented the hotel for food refreshments. Very positive experience. Good was good, service was friendly and efficient. High standard of hygiene and general presentation"
"Spacious room, comfortable bed. Bar was lively and the food better than average (I had fish and chips upon arrival on Friday 10th February. A great night's sleep was followed by a hearty breakfast of granola followed by poached eggs on toast. The service was a little haphazard until a woman, presumably a manager as she was not in waitress attire, took command and then things seemed to run more smoothly. If I had a complaint it was that I'd expect artisan bread at breakfast in a 4*establishment instead of the toasted sliced pan that is more 'greasy spoon' than 'superior hotel'. That said I'd stay here again but I think I'd be tempted to look elsewhere for breakfast as I thought €12.90 a tad steep for granola, poached eggs and coffee."
"Not very far from city centre limerick, there is good amount of parking space, the food was very tasty ranging from starters, veg, non veg meals, drinks and desserts as well. There is also live music after 9.30 pm in the evening and a lively bar. A good place to visit for food and drinks and it's not very costly as well. Recommended!"
