"This place is gorgeous I loved it. we stayed for a week or two in the guest house behind the inn and it had a cottage core vibe to it. But there were a few issues though. Due to the house being so old you had to choose between taking a shower or doing the laundry because you couldn't do both at the same time or you'd trip a breaker. Second the 2 bedrooms closest to the master bedroom had issues with the showers. My sister and I took those two rooms And the first time we showered was fine but afterwards the water didn't drain correctly or something like that so it basically made that end of the house smell bad. From then on we had to take showers in the master bathroom. The hot water heater was also very small so between the 6 of staying there not all of us could take showers in the morning unless you wanted a cold shower. That also went with doing laundry. After you were done running the washer You had to wait an hour or 2 for the hot water to come back. Then the hot water heater stopped working. Fortunately the owners were very accommodating they let us take showers in the inns vacant rooms."
"We stayed at farmhouse for a night and it was a very good experience. Our evy suite was bright, spacious and airy. Next morning, we had spectacular food as Noreene, the owner, was very kind and cooked a delicious breakfast like omelette and pancake with other refreshments. Thank you for welcoming us to your farmhouse. Highly recommend to all people out there."
"Wonderful setting, hosts, and breakfasts! We'll return again!"
"The Cahergal Farm was a splendid spot from which to enjoy County Clare. Their location makes for easy access to many of the west coast attractions. Our room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. We arrived late, not having time to eat, and Noreen graciously whipped up some lovely scones and tea prior to bedtime. The farm is immaculate and peaceful- we wish we had more time just to spend on the farm. Breakfasts were a treat! Above and beyond what we anticipated."
"Great people own this place! Furnishings are Spartan though."
