"We booked this place as a house on Airbnb so didn't know it was part of a hostel. As a hostel it would get more stars. As a house it doesn't. There are no doors on any cabinetry. Not on wardrobes, kitchen cabinets etc. Ok in a hostel, not really in a house where it just makes things. look untidy. During the stay the lady responsible for the place used the front door keypad and let herself in. She did knock once first, but nobody answered and she came in to take the rubbish out. We could have been doing anything or we could have been out and then a stranger is walking around inside with our possessions Not really acceptable when you have booked the entirety of the house. Again, ok in a hostel. So they are trying to be everything and not really succeeding in anything fully. WIFI was hit and miss. It needed resetting a few times and that needs a visit from the caretaker as the modem is locked away. MOBILE SIGNAL. None. You can't make or receive calls in the house. Coupled with dodgy internet you need to be prepared to be cut off from the outside world."
"Really friendly and helpful staff, although the place needs to be improved for the price charged. It is fairly clean, but a bit old furniture and facilities (TV, oven...). It is located in a very beautiful area to explore."
"Friendly owners and a very neat and clean place. For groups the facilities are just right, not too luxurious but practical and spacious, even within the bunkbed rooms. Fresh soda is served every morning and the location is just perfect for any good hike or botanical and geological adventure. Make sure to take the time to smell the flowers and pet the doggos ❤️"
"Rooms could do with being updated, but are clean and comfortable. The upstairs rooms are mainly bunkbeds, there are double beds in two of the rooms. Rooms 3&4 have an ensuite, but the other 4 rooms share bathrooms, 2 rooms to one bathroom. There is free wifi also. The owner is friendly and helpful. Breakfast facilities were good and the homemade brown bread was great! Amazing views on the doorstep, the highlight being s fairy fort directly in front of you as you look out. There's a pub a two minute walk away that serves good food, but if you want to make your own food, there isnt a shop within walking distance that we could find."
"Everything you can wish for in a hostel; surprisingly quiet. Very welcoming staff (intro tour of the hostel), outstandingly well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Moreover, it has its own electricity source, making it very eco (hint-you can easily locate the hostel thanks to the wind trubine)."
