The Lodge Doolin

"We stayed two nights and could not be more pleased with our time at The Lodge. Check in was easy with Nora showing us to our 3 bedroom terrace apartment. Nora told us about every restaurant & their music schedule. She seemed happy to do it. The space was comfortable and clean with breathtaking views of the cows, horses and castle out the windows. They offer a traditional Irish breakfast and other options every morning, We took advantage of that meal before checking out. Leona & her brother Christian served the four of us a fantastic breakfast. Leona cooked a plate of salmon eggs and veggies for our non meat eater. Leona took time to give us recommendations on places to see & eat in Galway. We highly recommend this family run lodge/farm in the heart of Doolin. Easily the best of the five places we stayed on this trip to the Emerald Island."

"Really good property. We had a really nice self catering apartment. 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and one double plus a single bed. All ensuite plus another bathroom. Very spacious kitchen and living area. Would be great for a family or 3 couples looking to spend some time in the fabulous Doolin. Highly recommended."

"I have never left a negative review anywhere I have stayed before but in this case I make an exception. I think it is unfair that this place advertises as a bed and breakfast when they don't actually provide any breakfast. No reason given, just "we're not doing breakfast this summer!!". Also, beds very poor quality suitable only for a child's weight. Disappointed with the attitude of the place."

"Beautiful buildings with a sever grey stone looking surrounded by a amazing landscape. The flat in the top, level 2, with the stone balcony is the best to rent for 1week and do your own fod. Very cozy and comfortable. One minus, not all the roof windows have a blind."
