"Had an excellent breakfast and the service was great. A group of us used to go once a week but we stopped as they started charging extra for orange juice and coffee"
"Food is much better then before. However being told I had to take asigned seats. Ended up in a corner by people who were drinking, couldn't enjoy my meal. Definitely need to get rid or designated seating. It's a joke. Ruins the experience"
"Traditional carvery with no roast potatoes. French Dauphinoise instead ( Garlic potatoes ) . Or if you don't like garlic like me. You could have chips. I had chips . Took a while to come out so were cooked fresh but rushed and inedible as they were raw in the middle . Beef was dry and tough . Gammon was really nice . Not a great experience. Have eaten here quite a number of times . But the last 2 or so have been a real let down. Quality of food and cooking is really slipped. I won't be back for a good while ."
"Lovely and cozy with open fire and efficient service. Very decent menu but with costs after rising its not cheap.Good pint of Guinness too. Easy parking and relaxing atmosphere."
"Stopped off for lunch. Carvey menu, had chicken curry and partner had boiled bacon and cabbage. Portions nice size, more peppers than chicken in curry and more mash and veg than bacon. Food was not hot! Won't be going back. Sad really, looks like a really nice place."
