"I booked an appointment a month and a half ago and the receptionist picked up and asked my details, I gave her my PPS number and asked about my eligibility and she said yes I am eligible and it will only cost 20euros for cleaning and consultation. I again asked are you sure the consultation will be free and she said yes. I arrived there yesterday and they did cleaning of my teeth and the hygienist said that you have to be back after a couple of weeks for cleaning again, I asked her why can't you clean everything today and she said it can't be done all today. In my past experience i have got cleaning done in one go. She said there is alot to clean. So that means you are not good at your job that you can't clean at one go and you want people to come back. Then I was moved to the doctor's clinic there he asked any problems with your teeth and I said NO but still he said he will have to do xray, i don't know for what, there was no point in doing xray as I have no problem still he did it. And he made it clear that I have to come for cleaning or else the tartar, plaque or whatever it is will damage my teeth. So yet again i was told to come back for cleaning. Next thing when i went to pay ,the receptionist said i have to pay 155euros , i was shocked as I said I was suppose to use my PRSI as I am eligible but she said no you are not. I was annoyed, because they charge for consultation and even for x-ray, which was not needed at all. Guys whenever you go to these dental practice pls make sure why they want to take xray and will they charge for it or not. Try and ask before visiting them the RECEPTIONIST that are they gonna use your PRSI. I checked with revenue again and they said I am eligible to claim my PRSI. And i belive there are other hygienists who take less money and does a wonderful jobso that you don't have to go for couple of repeated sessions. CLEANING IS DONE IN ONE SESSION. And they didn't know that I work in CUH and I know exactly how the system works. And yes when I asked Dr paul why do you want me to come back when I have no problem so he replied because 'we don't trust you'. Sorry doc the first relation between a patient and a doctor is of TRUST. You are taught this in your first year of Degree course. Guys please question your doctor's because they should be the one earning your trust. And beware of RECEPTIONIST ask them the money before entering the doctors clinic. I would never recommend such place. Waste of money and time."

"Due to serious damage from a sports accident my two front teeth had to be replaced with implants which for me meant the removal of both teeth and roots. I also had to have a bone transplant in my mouth to make sure the implants would take properly. Paul came highly recommended to me and now I understand why. He explained the full procedure and cost and the schedule ahead. He performed the delicate surgery’s with ultra professionalism and was so reassuring and kind as I wouldn’t be the most confident patient. His follow up after each surgery was very impressive and I had minimum of discomfort whilst getting each procedure done. To say I am over the moon with the results would be an understatement. "Had an awful experience on Saturday when I went to visit Dr Paul Guiney. He was very rude and his demeanor was awful. He was unkind and made the whole experience for me very unpleasant. I would not recommend this dental practice. I was charge €160 for a temporary dressing. Ridiculously expensive. I give this rating -5 stars."

After summing up courage, I contacted the receptionist for an appointment, from the minute I entered the building ,from reception to Freda , and Louise the hygienist, my experience was exceptional, excellent service and have highly recommended to my friends, thank you all again"
