"I've had a very positive experience at Culra and would urge anyone who may be suffering in silence to make that call and get the help you need . You will be on the road to a better life and the inner peace which everyone deserves."
"I had a very positive experience here with Maria. I was given the time, space and compassion needed to help me understand what was/ is going on in my life. I felt she was very understanding and truly listened to what I had to say."
"I am a bit hesitant in writing this review, because I have never written any reviews like this before… this is the very first one… but I felt I needed to do this, because there might be other people out there like me (like I was before), struggling with issues and being afraid of seeking professional help. A couple of months ago I went through a rough patch in my life, and I felt I was struggling, but you see, I always preferred to keep things, problems for myself (like my mother would say: “never air your dirty laundry in public, my girl”… so I never did, yet I felt the hurt and the pain… and I struggled with the mere fact that I was completely aware of experiencing problems, but I didn’t know what to do, how to address these issues). So, I struggled with my problems by myself and it did affect not only my personal but my professional relationships too. Then a friend of mine recommended me to contact Ms. Maria Stack at Cúlra Counselling, Limerick. Actually, it took me several weeks to find the courage to finally make the phone call and ask for an appointment. I was worried, nervous, I did not know what to expect. Ms. Stack was very welcoming, caring and kind to me from the very moment we first met…. and I felt that finally there was someone who really understood me. I felt kind of safe to talk about anything and everything really - without feeling “criticized” or “judged”…. It felt wonderful! It was a great relief! I got help to understand myself better, and to create a kind of balance or order in my thoughts and feelings that I have never experienced before. I don’t really know how to put it into words, but I am absolutely grateful for this experience. It was like lifting a great burden from my shoulders…. It took time, several sessions, but it was well worthed…. So, I decided to write this review… not only to express my gratitude to Ms. Stack and her counselling service, but also to somehow send this message for anyone really, who struggles with problems in secret, alone, like I did before: Don’t be afraid… You are not alone… Seek professional help… it will be a relief and it is never too late. Life is full of opportunities, that we can only see if we become free in a somewhat spiritual way, by accepting ourselves, by facing our problems and by finding the courage to speak up for ourselves. Ms. Stack helped me to find this courage and consequently: self-acceptance, something like an inner peace. It is quite difficult to express what I really want to say, I am still figuring it out... but one thing is for sure: I would highly recommend Ms. Stack and her counselling service."
