"Great local shop and pub (one of a handful left )shop stocks nearly everything one could need and a sheer delight for children with lots of jars of 10cent jellies and sweets so their euro buys a good bag of them Pub open from 7pm but during day weekends but you can always buy a can or ice cream in shop and enjoy on the picnic tables outside"
"We stayed at the Ballincourty & traveled all around the area as my great great grandma Jane Marks (DAU of William Marks & Mary CASEY) was born in Lisvarinnane in 1860! She went to the USA & married James Lynch from Dublin area. They lived in Bloomfield near Newark New Jersey. We stopped in Moroneys Bar & had a lovely time talking with one of the owners. There is also a lovely little grocery store attached. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay many days & didn’t find out much RE my great grand family! We love you Ireland. Jeannine Lynch Anderson"
