"I have eaten here many a time and always enjoyed it but today the bar b q wrap was horrible and there were at least four orders went back for different reasons flies everywhere tables filthy very pleasant girls but ye need to get your house in order no cutlery won't be going back lunchtime is a busy time service shocking"
"You'd get over the mediocre coffee but not rudeness, and unkindness. My 87 year old mother meets her friend here every single week, and so up to now has been a regular customer. She went in this week, and wasn't feeling great so sat down and asked a passing staff member if she could please bring her cup of tea to the table for her. She was told to queue like everyone else. At the time there was one person paying at the till, so it wasn't a case that she was skipping a queue. She just didn't feel she had the energy to stand any longer. I appreciate it's not a table service cafe, but the way she was spoken to was uncalled for, it was unkind and it has had a big impact on an elderly lady's confidence."
"Had coffee and scone here this am. Lady who served me had no mask-had snood around her neck. Disposable cutlery in a heap further down the counter and jam etc in a basket!! The 3 staff members were wearing no facial coverings except when they were clearing the tables. This is unacceptable in a pandemic and i will not be returning to this cafe as i felt unsafe."
"Not a good time to review. There are renovations nearby and the environment is noisy. Coffee is ok. Chairs and tables a bit squashed but although it's busy staff are efficient. Overall in a good central open place with high roof and hugely popular with the locals."
