Reviews
"This cafe is seriously overpriced, €31 for 2 breakfasts an €1 extra for a white coffee, the most expensive breakfast in cork, 1 slice of toast, and €2.50 if I wanted a second slice, on top of that the food was not great,"
"Breakfast was of high quality and the servings are big. Good quality with good taste. Most importantly the staff is professional and courteous."
"Nice visit, first time here. This place is not cheap and loves itself a bit too much. Service is poor with at least one very moody waitress. There is no table service. Bacon is name checked as if its something special, it's not. If anything, pancakes with bacon is ruined by the bacon. Gluten free scones were nice. Could do better."
"I had a decent coffee here. The staff were helpful and pleasant. I was correctly asked if I had a COVID-19 vaccination cert when I wanted to sit inside. The through draft between the front and the back entrances ensures that there is a high rate of air change and therefore makes this a very safe place to sit inside in terms of covid. What brought me here wasn't so much the coffee but my need for a toilet. The toilet was spotless and properly provisioned. This cafe is excellently situated, with an entrance from the Aldi car park as well as from the front terrace. It is the ideal pit stop for those doing a bit of shopping, or going to the nearby pharmacy or opticians."
"Stopped in by chance looking for somewhere else, but the staff were so friendly and helpful (and the food looked good) that I went back for lunch. The food was lovely and reasonably priced (toasted falafel wrap), an excellent take away flat white, and my 3 year old daughter was delighted with the cartoon face in her hot chocolate. The interior was bright and open, with outdoor seating available if dry. The space is wheelchair or buggy friendly. It's good food, great service, a fair price, and the pastries looked good too - I'll go back whenever I'm in the area."
