"What a disaster of a company, two of my most stressful experiences have been with UPS. I was returning a laptop so had no choice but to use ups as they are the only ones accepting batteries. I followed online instructions and booked a collection was given a cash price to be paid to the driver. The package was collected and fee paid we were given no receipt or tracking number. The following day another driver turned up with the laptop and told my son another form was required to be signed. The driver came back and collected the form which had already been done from forms printed online. Again no tracking number was given so the only number we had was the number from the collection document I printed but this did not prove collection or delivery. As the days went on my son phoned to check on the delivery Anne was informed yes it will be delivered in a day or two. A further week went on and the laptop was not delivered and when I phoned I was informed without a tracking number we could not be helped. This meant the information we received first time was a lie. Three more frustrating phone calls followed with the most unhelpful call centres I’ve ever dealt with. They told me lie after lie just to get rid of me and would not help. Lucky for me I remembered I had video footage of the two delivery men getting paid and taking the package. I eventually had to go to the ups depot near me and confront the staff. Amazingly they found the tracking number nobody else could give me and told me the day and time of delivery. I was lucky a depot was near me because most people would not have access to one. All in all they are a monumental disaster with no customer service at all, avoid at all costs."
"Went to pick up a parcel. The collection area is outside but it's not manned. Waited a long time in the hope someone would come. The phone number doesn't work. There was a gap big enough for me to slip into the warehouse (with mask). I probably shouldn't have but felt I had no choice. I saw the office and went in, thankfully there was one person there and then I got my parcel."
"Absolutely Appalling!!! Avoid! Sent parcel with my car's fried ECU on 17th Nov to be assessed for reparability by the company in UK . It landed in UK on 18th Nov and still not delivered on 29th Nov. Spent over 1.5 hour on the calls to UK's UPS CS and god knows how long on the calls to Irish ones, wasting money as absolutely no-one can tell me what's missing for the package to clear customs. I was told to call after 3:30 as the number then switches from CS to Export or something like that. 2 hours wasted, trying to get someone to pick-up the call. Constant call drops and then re-dial and repeat the whole story. All documents were provided as requested, MINUTES after receiving email from them yet no receipt or confirmation given to me. They are ok when all is good but once something goes sideway they'll wont give a flying duck about ya."
"Wasted 2 hours waiting for delivery and they never showed up, no one called my mobile and yet on the tracking said no phone answered. You can't say you will be at certain time and then don't show up. Stop wasting people time!"
