Reviews of Garinish Island Ferry - Harbour Queen Ferry
"Lovely place to go very picturesque and lovely views around the island. Cost for the ferry is €14 and when you arrive on the island you need to pay in cash for admission of €5 as they don't pay by card. There is a cafe too that uses cash & card."
"What can I say Sunday the 10th I decided to head over to Garnish Island, lovely part of the world down in Glenaggiff in west cork . We had to pay for the ferry over. The weather was splitting the stones. We got the ferry over, it took the long route over to give us a bit of a tour and hopefully see seals along the way over. We saw a baby seal on the way over. Got to the Island had to pay a €5 each to enter, which I thought wasn't bad. Before we began we stopped at the cafe and something to keep us going. The cafe was dear and not much offerings, if some who was into food took it over and had a bit of a better offering, it be a gold mine. As it stands I say the cafe isn't doing to bad as you have no where else to go. We then moved on and explored the place, spectacular it was and some incredible views. It was out of this world. Where else would you want to be on such a golourious day with amazing views and stunning gardens to roam around in. Amazing day out and so glad I got to go over."
"Fantastic trip ran by BLUEPOOL FERRY. The island is stunning with beautiful gardens and features. This is must do trip when you visit the small village of Glengariff, West Cork."
"What a gem! We visited June 2021 and the gardens looked spotless, well cared for and absolutely amazing. We had a chat with one of the gardeners and spent much more than recommended 1.5h there! It was great to see plants like house begonias and other conservatory plants grown in the Irish gardens. I will be back!"
"A must see if your visiting the area. Italian gardens are stunning. Boat trip is great especially with the number of seals lazing around on the rocks. Don't miss it , you will regret not visiting."
