Reviews of Ballycotton Cliff Walk
"A stunning trip! Also suitable for children. A stunning route along the sea, on the cliff. Lots of blooms all around. We took the circular blue route and went down through the village, it was long and not so comfortable. It is better to return on the same route on the cliff. Don't miss going down to the beach, it's fun to go there with the kids too."
"This cliff walk offers great views and it has 4-5 different circuits to choose with for a walk based on the distances. It has seats on its way at different intervals for a break if needed. The walk way is slippery so a good gripped and comfortable boots is a must. This cliff walk is good one for kids and with pets but with extreme caution. The cliff walk has car parks in 3 different places. It doesn’t have a public toilet. The view of light house and the sea is fantastic. There is a beach on its way to have a nice break. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing here. It’s a great place with tables on it’s entrance for a short break and a snack/coffee. It never fails to amaze us in our every trip."
"This was a great hike! Because we had to wait for lost luggage from Air France (not a fan!) We did the hike the day after it was sunny. Even with the rain, the hike was beautiful! Wear comfortable hiking shoes (weather proof/goretex if it's raining). The views were all amazing and you should try to make it to the stranded shipwreck!"
"Loved visiting the cliffs and the beach. Met a resident at the beginning of our walk. He was very friendly and provided some helpful tips and interesting information on the area. The walk can be as long as you want it to be. We did not have the time or the stamina to do the full walk, but enjoyed the walk."
"We walked all along the cliffs and along the bird trail , saw a few seals and amazing coves and views along the way. The path is easy to follow and there is parking about 250m from where trail starts. It is quite safe , path is stable and warning signs where you should not venture to close to the edge. It's an easy walk , pretty flat and we walked for an hour and had not reached the end. We stopped for quite a few photo stops. We saw many walkers including young children so it is quite safe and can be a family outing"
