"We booked a camper pitch for one night while doing a little tour of West Cork in our campers. This is a hidden gem along the Sheep's Head Peninsula, not to be missed. It has space for 2 motorhomes with electric , and we are a party of 2 families and 2 motorhomes, and we had plenty space around us to turn etc. The bathroom pods were close by and we enjoyed making use of the hot water showers after our walk/ run in the morning. Outdoor sinks meant the kids could practise their washing up skills. There is a campers kitchen and laundry on site too, all facilities immaculately kept. We met the onsite animals, Louis the goat being the favourite. The loop walk up to a stunning view point and past a lake, through the farm land was well worth the climb. The campfire was a lovely welcome when we returned. So thank you to our fantastic hosts Chris and Marie and children who were most welcoming and even came to our rescue with an engine battery charger. We will be spreading the word as highly recommended."
"Boutique camping and glamping on the Sheep's Head. Very family friendly - especially made possible because it is run by the most helpful and friendly family! Upon arrival you are greeted by the hosts who walk you to your pitch - a HUGE plus of this campsite is that except for bringing your kit to your pitch the cars are only allowed at the car parking area beside the main entrance. The facilities are well laid out and spotless. Chris, Marie and family work extremely hard at providing everything possible from piping hot water, clean facilities to an extremely well equipped camper's kitchen. There is a fabulous stone circle campfire, lovely farm pet sheep and goats and extra facilities such as table tennis, goalposts etc. There are lovely swimming piers and coves all within a 30 minute drive on the peninsula. Thank you, and Five Stars for a lovely family getaway."
"What a beautiful spot for a holiday. Pods are clean and cosy, while the people managing them are lovely, friendly, and willing to address any reasonable request. Outdoor areas are well designed, and maintained (including several pens, with friendly goats and sheep). Their walking trail has an amazing view of this small, coastal piece of West Cork. A relaxing time for all ages. Highly recommended."
"Fantastic!!! Loved every second of our week in the pods. Home from home with everything you could need available. Great to have a shower in the pods and plenty of space inside for our family of four. Everything was spotless and new, beds comfy and plenty of space in the kitchenette, with a great size fridge with a freezer box also. The owners are the nicest people, so friendly and welcoming and had provided a fan and ice for us as it was the hottest day of the year when we arrived so that was really appreciated! Always lovely to have a chat with the owners during our stay who had so much time for everyone, they are locals so very knowledgeable about the area. The park itself is in the most beautiful location with stunning sea views from all the pods, lovely sitting at your own little picnic table in front of the pods and enjoying the mountains and the sea. The views from the top of the site are spectacular and not to be missed. It's a lovely walk up the hill and beyond with a really pretty lake also. The kids loved the fairy forest, which had loads of fairies and they have the sweetest animals onsite. We have never met such friendly goats, who love to be petted and also beautiful sheep with tiny newborn lambs as well as some cattle. The kids loved checking in with them daily! One of the best features is the little playground which is metres from the pods, so you can watch the kids play safely whilst relaxing at your pod. There is also table tennis available, a campers kitchen, a beautiful sensory room, a shop with great coffee and ice lollies etc and a communal campfire which is lit every evening. All in all we had a superb stay and would love to return, can't recommend this place highly enough!"
"I booked a pitch in Goats Path Farm for myself, my husband and two kids for two nights. This was our first real experience camping and it was just amazing. The place was so well kept and clean. There is outside sinks, showers and toilets that are cleaned very regularly. There is a playground for the kids and a fairy forest and the children loved every minute. It is so safe. Chris , his wife and children are so so helpful. Very professional and friendly. We loved it so much that we booked the following week. This is Chris' first year opened. The standard was so high for his first year, I can't imagine what the future holds for him. You would think he was doing it for years. Can't wait to come back next year."
