Reviews of Ardgroom Stone Circle
"Absolutely grateful for the locals to allow you to walk through their farmland but would NOT recommend visiting during rainy season unless you have gumboots. Your feet will soak right through going through the fields if you don't."
"A very peaceful place to sit and ponder."
"The walk out to the circle is boggy, so wear appropriate shoes. You'll encounter livestock--a huge ram gave us the stink eye as we climbed over the ladder stile, but didn't bother us beyond looking evil. Lovely location with stunning views."
"You can’t get past the sheep. It’s privately owned farmland, fenced off and full of sheep. I did not want to chance opening the fence and having sheep either attack me or escape. I was also worried about trespassing. It’s a shame we could not get there."
"May not be worth a drive specifically for it. We drove on narrow road, trampled passed pastures and cow dungs to get there just to see these few pieces of stones."
