Long: Builders wrecked our floors (scrapes, gouges, deep scores). I sanded best I could in those pre internet advice days. Over 18yrs they'd worn, faded & cupped. I was going to tackle it again myself during Lockdown but KFS came highly recommended. So efficient & professional from 1st phone call and meeting. Here was someone who took pride in their work! They arrived exactly when they said they would, wasted no time. Tea forced on them (there's a Mrs Doyle in everyone!) was consumed remotely as they worked. They were a pleasure to have around- how often do you say that about tradespeople? They left us with beautifully stained & finished floors. Fab to look at & so lovely & smooth to walk on barefoot. They gave us the new floors we never had! As the rooms were empty I decided to paint the walls. Yup, you've guessed it- a full tin of paint tipped, soaking through sheet onto flooring! After a heart attack & a lot of cloths it was like it never happened. When Tom says he's applying a hard wearing, long lasting tough coating he means it! Never trust the handle on a paint tin, but trust KFS to give you beautiful floors! 'He never mentioned dust' I hear you say-I would have, had there been any. Go call 'em!"

"Kerry Floorsanding did an amazing job on two reclaimed maple floors. The wood was reclaimed from an old flour mill and was in our house for about 30 years. It has never looked so good! "I would highly recommend Tom McCarthy and his team. I am delighted with my floors which were resurrected from highly damaged and brought back to what they looked like when they were laid 20 years ago. I am so delighted I got them done as it makes the house look brand new again. Tom arrived exactly on time and he and his team wore masks and sanitised every area they would use on their arrival. I was not one bit worried about Covid when I saw their attention to detail to ensure health and safety was adhered to. I left the house at 8.30 in the morning and came back at 8.30 PM the workmen were gone at that stage and I could walk on the floor as the varnish was dry. There was no dust anywhere. Tom called the next day again bang on time and told me if there was any issue at all down the line to let him know and he would fix it. I could not ask for more then that. I received a receipt for the work carried out. I absolutely recommend Tom and his team and I am delighted to put up a review on his google account as I know as a female looking for a tradesperson, I always read the reviews first."

He arrived initially to give us a qoutation and knew from speaking to him from the off that he had considerable knowledge of  different floor types and the different kinds of finishes available to us. They arrived on time and on an agreed day that suited us and it was evident from there professional setup that there was gonna be practically no dust and so was the case.
