"So. I needed my bottom bracket removed. I did all of it myself except the final part that requires a special tool. Which i ended up buying at Halfords for €10. Over the phone O Halloran Cycles said it would be €12 - €15. In store he told me it would cost under €100 , and it would take an hour and a half. It took me, with the tool, 15 seconds to remove it. He could have done it in a shorter time than the conversation we had about doing it. I'm not impressed, and i felt like I was being taken for a ride. Maybe they're having a tough time making a living. I wanted to give someone money to help me. To support local. But a service at potentially 10x the price, after an unnecessary wait...... Doesn't add up."

"A reliable personality. I would definitely recommend without any second thoughts. He was honest, humble, intelligent with his work and makes time for his customers. I have a hybrid bike and was a bit hesitant to take it for a service because of the price anyone would quote and was thinking of fixing it by myself but I took it for a general service along with some issues to the front disc. He fixed the entire bike for €30 and in a day's time."
