"Ye should pride yourselves on yer staff,the lad in the office was friendly and efficient and both the loadall drivers in the yard where very friendly and approached me very quickly to serve. One of them took the time to awnser questions about the product I was buying to make sure it was what I needed for the job. Very impressed will call again as I am new to DIY and any help is greatly appreciated."

"Was in to pick up a few bits 2 Saturdays in a row and had the same issue both times. The lads in the office are great, very helpful but the guy in the yard spent 10 minutes on day 1 and 16 minutes on day 2 chatting to someone before coming to help me. The second time I had to go to him and ask him to help. Still took him 5 minutes more to finish his conversation."

"I found Charlotte extremely helpful she took the trouble to going down the yard to ensure what I was ordering was physically in stock and secured the it for me until I was able to collect it.An employee worth her weight in gold in these times"

"Honestly I do not know how this place even gets business!! If I could give a minus 5 stars I 100% would! The service and attitude of the staff is absolutely appalling!! After speaking with the guy behind the desk (Pat) I told him what I needed, I gave him measurements etc which he recalculated into meters and gave me the price. I thought it was a bit expensive but placed the order as I trusted his expertise. It turned out that his measurements were wrong and he had given me over double of what I needed! So I then had the hassle of returning it and requesting a refund. As I had paid with card the first day I was told a refund would take 10 WEEKS!! I was shocked to hear that it would that long as usually it would take only a couple of working days. That should have been the red flag there and then, I rang 3months later as there was no sign of the money in the account and was told it wasn’t processed yet and would take 2 more weeks. I had to ring back every few weeks for almost 6 and a half months and getting no where. It came to the point where I had to ring on private number because Pat would not answer my calls and did when my number was not on show. They ignored any voicemails requesting a call back. In the end I had to email head office in Dublin in order to speak to someone. The secretary called me back saying her boss was going to call the Cork branch in Ballincollig and find out what was going on and would call me back. He didn’t call me back but the next day Pat himself from Ballincollig rang and said he was just after doing the refund and it would be in our account in a few days. It took 8 months for them to refund me €250 in a mistake that was theirs in first place! Awful service and even worse attitude!! Wouldn’t advise anyone to use this place, take your hard earned cash somewhere that deserves it, I know I will!"

"Delivery was wrong, when I approached Pat in the office it was deemed that i had ordered the wrong tile despite me having an original sample he gave me as proof. Pat then said that it would cost me more money to deliver the correct product . The second delivery of the correct product was delivered but again one of the products was missing from the delivery. I was then told to go out and collect the missing product myself after paying for delivery. Two words, A JOKE."
