Reviews of Dingle Sea Safari
"Amazing experience. The staff are stellar, ribs (boats) are brand new and the gear is plenty warm. I wouldn’t advise anyone younger than 12 going. It was an intense ride and you need all the balance and grip strength you can muster. It also wouldn’t be a good idea for anyone with back problems. We got super lucky and saw dolphins, Basking sharks and Puffins on our trip, though that’s not guaranteed for each trip. The skipper did a wonderful job of maneuvering the rib to get us a safe distance from the wildlife. 100% would recommend."
"The boat captain was fantastic. We booked a private tour of just people. He took care to make sure we were comfortable. Absolutely different perspective looking at the Cliffs and attractions from the cove and ocean. I highly recommend that you do this and book with these guys if you get any chance."
"I cannot say enough great things about this tour! First of all, the owner (who usually does private tours only) showed up last minute on his day off to add another group (us) to the schedule. The weather had not been great the days earlier, and many tours got bumped; so they were fully booked up. Instead of just saying, "sorry, we're booked," they added another tour to accommodate 12 last minute people hoping to catch a glimpse of the peninsula. The tour itself was also amazing! Jimmy provided such a fun, unique experience filled with history, excitement, and (of course) incredible views. He stopped to point out all of the incredible wildlife, and we even saw a whale! (Which was apparently very, very lucky). The tour is centered around the history and sights, and the wildlife was just a bonus honestly. I didn't want it to end, I was having so much fun! I truly mean it when I say, if you want to get the best experience possible, do NOT leave Dingle without doing the Dingle Sea Safari."
"It was an amazing experience! Booked it one day in advance at their office. Definitely a must when you’re in Dingle! The trip is around three hours with some moments to enjoy the view and see dolphins. The people are really kind and helpful, it felt they could’ve been friends."
"The experience of a lifetime. Very well organised as they provide most equipment, help you wearing it and give guidance. The skipper was very knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to see whales from very very close, a memory I will cherish forever. Regardless of the whale/dolphin watching which can obviously vary, it’s very well worth the price as you get to see the beautiful coast from a unique point of view. Couldn’t recommend more."
